May Beats Playlist

May Beats is the latest groovy playlist that I created for my Barre classes. Can you believe I have been streaming live classes for almost 7 weeks now? It seems like yesterday that we closed our doors due to Covid-19.

Fast forward 7 weeks, and It’s incredible, how quickly we have radically transformed our classes. I can no longer take a quick break and “adjust” clients, or walk the room and “connect with people”. I’m not only taking my own class, but I’m giving 500% to every posture I teach. That means, you better believe I need some deep grooves to keep me motivated and energized.

One of my absolute favourite things about teaching is connecting with women who truly care about their health and happiness. I love the energy in each and every class I teach, but not having clients to teach to in person forces me to be my own motivation. Being a one woman show is not easy. It’s just me, a laptop, microphone and a wish to the universe to keep us streaming long enough so I can finish the class.

 

Serena asked for a dance party, so I though it perfect timing to create a new playlist — it is May 1st… and I teach tomorrow, no better time to break out some new tunes!

Use this playlist when you need a little motivation to get your body up and moving. You can quickly build some heat with the tempo, and, as always there is a cool down song towards the end followed by a beautiful song to close your eyes and bliss out.
