Monday Motivation: Is your self-love cup overflowing?

Today’s Monday Motivation asks YOU the reader Is Your Self-Love Cup overflowing? Meaning, do you feel fulfilled in all areas of your life? Are you nurtured in mind, body and spirit?

The Total Wellness lifestyle is one of vibrance and feeling empowered and fulfilled. Your mind, body and spirit are interconnected through energy.  When something is off in your body, it will reflect in your thoughts (mind), and your energy (spirit) will be less than full.

The same applies with your mind. When the voice inside your head is telling you a story from fear or ego, it will manifest in areas of you body and spirit too.

When you are living from a place of abundance. Where your life is full of pure love, joy and vibrance your spirit (higher power, or true self) flows with grace and ease. When this occurs we live from a place of abundance.

What is abundance?

Abundance is achieved right now. Just as you are. Not the dollar amount in your bank account, not how many followers you have on social media and not the car you drive. Abundance lives inside you. It’s the energy, the light, the source of true happiness.

Where you are right now, will look distinctively different than it will in a few years.  How you live today reflects on what your tomorrow looks like, so right now is what matters most.

Perhaps you have a boss you don’t get along with and you begrudge going into work. You can change that story. How your boss treats you has nothing to do with you as an individual. It’s your interpretation and the story you tell yourself that matters most. You have a job right? You have a form of transportation to get to that job? You have clothes you can wear that represent you in the best light to perform that job. Change your story to one of optimism and gratitude.

Are you motivated by passion?

Are you waking up every day excited to start your day? Or, are you feeling stagnated and dread getting out of bed? If so, look at your nighttime routine. Can you reduce screen time so your mind can rest and restore? If you are operating from burn out mode, how can you change that story? Do you need a day off? Do you need a long chat with your soul sister? It might be time for a self-love check in! Check out my free self-love download exercise to stimulate your creativity here.

Do you feel energized?

When you are in alignment, energy seems to find you. But sometimes you need to dig deep and find energy. Do you rely on caffeine, or sugar to do this? If so, try a new workout routine. New found energy can be as easy as going for a walk in the fresh air. But, if you have a regular workout routine and it’s leaving you depleted it might be time to move on.

Do you love your fitness class, routine, partner or studio? Are you excited to walk in the door and do you leave feeling empowered, uplifted and complete? When I teach, I am fully ON. I am there to serve my clients and I make sure they walk out the door feeling empowered, full of love, deeply connected and grounded. I want my clients to know they are appreciated, that they have importance to me, to our community but mostly to themselves. If you are spending your precious time (which you won’t ever get back) doing something you can’t say “hell yes” to, then stop doing it.

Do you feel gratitude?

Do you go to bed bursting with gratitude? Do you find gratitude for the small things in life which matter the most?

In today’s Barre3 class I asked this exact question. I then went on to describe what it was I was grateful for right then in that very moment.

My body for the strength it had right then and there. For my tush, the wonderful burn I felt after the 1000th squat. My feet for supporting all my weight. My heart, for pumping fresh oxygen into all my muscles which had just been worked to absolute failure. But mostly, I was grateful for the community, for each and every client who walked into the studio and what they had to offer. My self-love routine

My self-love routine varies, but I have 3 non-negotiable’s. MOVE – every day I move my tush. NOURISH –I fuel my mind, body and spirit with nutritious food, daily meditation, soulful conversations with those I love and quiet time. INSPIRE – everywhere I go, whomever I talk to I find inspiration. I surround myself with those who inspire me to be a better version of myself. Sometimes it’s an audible I listen to while walking with Luna. Often, it’s in nature. The warmth of sunshine, the sound of birds chirping, or the incredible beauty from whatever is growing that season. But mostly, my inspiration come from my children. Listening to their experiences, their interpretation of the world around them, their curiosity, innocence and passion to wake up each day to see more, learn more and to do more.

The universe is ready to give, all you have to do is ask! What is it that fulfills you the most? How can you feel truly connected to your mind, body and spirit? How can you be your own wellness warrior and live a ChampagneYogi lifestyle?
