Monday Motivation: Total Acceptance
Today’s Monday Motivation conversation is about Total Acceptance and Living without judgment.
Most of us live our days constantly seeking approval and recognition from others, while at the same time judging ourselves. We crave attention and acknowledgment but why?
I wonder how many times in your day you find yourself hoping for someone to smile at you. Wanting a pat on the back for the good work you do. A thank you from your children for being the best Momma Bear in the whole world. From your partner a bouquet of flowers, or other surprise recognizing how important and loved you are.
Rather than waiting for confirmations of how much you are loved and appreciated, get clear on what it is you are craving. What would make you feel truly fulfilled?
Do you need to tell your partner you’d like to hear you are appreciated more often? Be crystal clear with your communication. Most often, the negative story you are telling yourself lives only in your head and far from the truth.
Change your inner dialogue every time you hear yourself speak from a place of negativity to one of positivity.
Be grateful for what you have and for the work you do in your personal and professional life. Your attitude of gratitude will attract positivity in your surroundings. Notice how quickly your confidence and total acceptance brightens the energy around you.
Work together
We need to work together as a society to uplift and inspire each other rather than discouraging and often judging. Be the first to start this ripple effect.
10 acts of kindness to uplift the world around you
- Smile at a stranger
- Open the door for someone
- Pay it forward, a cup of coffee for the person behind you in line
- Compliment your work colleague for their effort
- Donate clothes and other items you no longer need or use
- Give way when driving
- Be the first to say “I love you”
- Be the first to say “I appreciate you”
- Say thank you
- Learn total acceptance, you cannot change another person, find something you can appreciate
Practice a few of these simple and mostly free actions and notice how they make you feel. An attitude of positivity encourages an attitude of total acceptance.
Judgment starts when we are young, and can become a heavy burden we carry into adulthood.
When you live from a place of Total Acceptance, where you are free from the pain of your past, and free from the fear of unknown, you tap into your true power. Your most authentic self. This is where happiness, love and abundance are plenty and we see the world through acceptance vs. judgement.
Transition your thoughts to those of positivity and encouragement. Practice leaning into your fears rather than pushing them away. Acknowledgement is a powerful first step of self-love and empowerment.
Love Mantra
Smile at yourself first thing in the morning.
Learn to love who you are.
Accept your body for how it is right now in this very moment and stop judging and stop projecting to a future self.
One of my favourite morning acts of self-love is to give myself a quick Goddess Massage. I massage my favourite essential oils and some coconut oil into my skin and repeat a love mantra over and over. “I love you feet, I love you legs, I love you thighs, I love you bum, I love you tummy, I love you breasts, I love you shoulders, I love you arms, I love you hands”.
My younger daughter has picked up on this simple act of self-love, and let me tell you when I hear her little voice singing her love mantra my heart if bursting with love.

It means allowing other to see you as they choose,
without being offended”.
