Natural Beauty Basics
Hello Beautiful,
Now more than ever, health and wellness is a hot topic. Health expands far beyond what you eat. You can drink all the green smoothies and eat kale salads everyday, but what you put onto your body immensely impacts the quality of your health.
Just think, everything you put onto your skin directly impacts your immune system. It can dramatically cause hormone imbalances and worse cause cancer!
I remember years ago when I still worked as a makeup artist reading how make up and the personal care products women use daily hugely impacts not only our health, but our environment too. Back then clean makeup, skin care and hair care was few and far between, and definitely not camera worthy! Once I knew how toxic some of the ingredients were in beauty products I made a promise to myself to transition to green and cruelty free beauty products, no matter how long it took me.
I don’t often wear a lot of makeup, and most days I don’t wear any. But, when I put on mascara, bronzer or lipstick I make sure it is as clean as possible!
I want this to be a helpful reference for anyone wanting to live a more consciously holistic lifestyle. More importantly, I want this to be easy for you to transition and still have great quality products.
“Clean Beauty is good for you and our environment”

Shop ethically. Do you homework, who sells ethically sourced, “low tox”, eco friendly brands. In the UK I recommend Content Beauty. In the Us I recommned Credo. Don’t get fooled by “pure, natural and hypoallergenic” these words don’t necessarily mean the product is free from harmful chemicals.
