Stuffed figs in a Balsamic Glaze

Fall is here in Seattle which means Figs are abundant. I love trying out new, simple to prepare appetizers that are perfect for dinner parties where my dinner guests stop and swoon (then eat). These heavenly Stuffed Figs have become a regular in my party prep rotation. All the ingredients I have on hand as they often make their way into my girls school lunches.

Stuffed Figs in a Balsamic Glaze
Ingredients
  • 12 Fresh Figs rinsed and sliced lengthwise try a variety of figs
  • 1/4 cup Cream cheese
  • 1 tbsp Fig Balsamic
  • ½ tbsp Honey
  • 1 tbsp Pistachios; ground fine
  • Black pepper to taste
Instructions
  1. Place the Figs on a serving platter and lightly press a small amt of cream cheese into the center of each fig.
  2. Sprinkle with pistachios and pepper.
  3. In a small bowl, or jar whisk together Honey and Fig balsamic. Drizzle over the figs, Serve and ENJOY!
