Herbalicious Green Smoothie

The best green smoothie ever!

Ingredients

  • 2 cup leafy greens fresh or frozen, I used a mix of chard and spinach
  • 1 cup coconut water or coconut milk for a creamier texture
  • 1/2 lime peel left on
  • 1/2 cup frozen mango
  • 1 peach, chopped previously frozen
  • 1 small handful parsley (approx 8 sprigs)
  • 1 inch fresh ginger optional
  • 1 heaping tbsp almond butter or other nut/seed butter of choice
  • 1 tbsp avocado optional
  • 1 tsp hemp seeds optional
  • 1 tsp chia seeds optional

Instructions

  1. Place all ingredients in a blender and blend until creamy, adding more coconut water, or distilled water to thin it out. Or, more mango to thicken. Serve immediately!

Recipe Notes

  • swap out mango for other stone fruit
  • equally delicious without hemp, chia seeds and avocado or ginger
